Everyone has a dream and aspire to be someone when they grow up. Be it a doctor, a lawyer, an accountant, a businessman, a sportsman, the possibilities is unlimited, depending on your interests.
As the saying goes, 'Find out what you like doing best and get someone to pay you for doing it.' To some extent, this is true and indeed I have met several people who enjoy their work and thus, work to them is never a chore.

erm....i wan to become a doctor when i grow up because i wan to cure those who have illness.i know this is very hard to achieve and i will work hard toward it.

I am really heartened by your responses. Be it a police officer or a doctor, both are such noble professions.
Knowing your goals is the first step, the next thing would be to work towards it.
For example, Vannessa, you might like to join the National Police Cadet Corp (NPCC) when you are in secondary school. This will give you a better experience of what it takes to be a police officer. Marching under the hot Sun, the high level of discipline involved, the good times such as repelling down 4 storey high buildings, adventurous camps and more.. Looking at you personality, I'm quite certain you will enjoy such fun outdoor activities.
As for Wee Ping and Jared, the CCA, Saint John. Gives you some background of how to do first aid and CPR. Peronally, watching drama serials about working the hospitals is fun too...
What ever your dream might be, work towards it. Remember, things don't come easy. There will always be hurdles and challenges to overcome. Don't lose sight of your dreams!!!

I believe in your dreams because I believe that you have what it takes. You are a confident individual who has strong opinions. I will definitely look out for opportunities for you to join such competitions, perhaps, the 'Rovering Reporters'will be something we can look out for next year.

wah y'all leave so wonderful comments about watcha wanna be... docter, news reporter, police... I am just content to draw. A cartoonist? Artist? No, not artist. Artist is too... artistic for me... well I can only say I luv drawing Japanese anime, manga......!
Well, not really. I was working in in the corporate world (Meetings and Conventions) for a while before joining teaching. Phoebe likes Manga drawing while I like singing. I always imagine myself as a really popular singer holding concerts; one after another.
Soon enough I know that it is not quite possible for me to realise that dream.
Instead, I used other avenues to make my 'debut' in singing. Sang during teacher's day (during secondary school) and took part in competitions in university. Yap.. I guess I have become a bathroom singer.. hehee...
I want to be a chess master or a teacher when I grow up.
Er... Maybe the next F1 world champion? So I can zip around in my formular 1 car. ^_^
i think i will be a swimmer or something that needs me to swim i think....haha..
I want 2 be a Psychologist cos it all started when ppl always commented that i was THIN and SHORT.I was confused cos i can't do anything about it.It's not about not eating more(i eat alot),the reason is just in my genes!I felt sadness,anger,jealousy(of ppl not thin & short)...all bottled up in me.I tot tat Pyschologists' common words would be like " u r wat u r inside,dun be affected by other ppl comments!" Thinking of this,i felt better. From then onwards,i hope 2 become a Psychologist 2 study the human mind and also give useful advices to ppl with troubled minds.
My dream is to be a photographer...
i love taking pictures in all kinds of ways and poses...haha..

When I grow up,I MAY want to be become a game tester,cos I enjoy playing games and bcos gmaes are like fun.Got computer games,PSP,PS2,XBOX360 and lots more!Dats y I wear specs.
I think i want to be somebody.Maybe a marine biologist to study the reefs and the marine life or maybe to be someone about the nature and stuff like Steve Irwin.Some say I should be a singer.I think i shall think more about this in the future.
